Queen Elizabeth refused to pose to take an “official” photo with her namesake great-granddaughter due to a common health complaint, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the UK last month to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Before the official celebrations were over, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who lives in the affluent Californian town of Montecito, left the country.

During their visit to the UK, they had wanted to have their own personal photographer there when the Queen met with Lilibet, after whom she was named.

But no such public picture of the couple was ever taken.

After the British monarch declined to have their picture taken with Lilibet out of concern that the images might be leaked to US news networks, there has been significant speculation that the Sussexes have departed the UK.

The 96-year-old allegedly had an eye issue, according to The Telegraph.

According to the media, Her Majesty forbade the taking of an official photograph due to a bloodshot eye. She didn’t want the public to have access to the pictures.

Prince Harry reportedly did express a keenness for an official photograph between the Queen and her great-granddaughter namesake in the future.

After the Trooping the Colour ceremony, Harry and Meghan reportedly presented Lilibet to her great-grandmother. Nevertheless, the conference was held the day before.

The family arrived at Farnborough airport, according to The Telegraph, and then they went to the Queen’s private residences.

The Sussexes also attended a birthday party for Lilibet in the UK, complete with a get-together at the couple’s London home, Frogmore Cottage, for relatives and friends.

As per honey. nine, Harry’s cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips were reportedly scheduled to attend the event following a royal family lunch.

However, an insider told The Telegraph: “It was quite boozy and went on well into the early evening, by which point there was no time to get to Windsor to see the Sussexes.”

The only young royals who attended, according to the media outlet, were the children of the Tindalls and Phillips.

At the time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children were undertaking official engagements in Cardiff.
